Area Schools The local public elementary school for Glenwood Park is Parkside Elementary, located about half a mile from Glenwood Park.
One mile south of Glenwood Park is an excellent charter school called Image Wesley International Academy which provides a Chinese language program.

Our public middle school is King Middle School in East Atlanta. Our public high school is Jackson High School, which is located just a quarter mile from Glenwood Park. In 2002, Southside High received a $1 million dollar grant from the GE Fund.
